The 30 Day Sketchbook Challenge Course was created to help artists understand and leverage the power of sketchbook work and reflective journaling.
In the spring of 2020 I needed a way back into my art making after an extended break. I decided to give myself a 30 day challenge – to work in my sketchbook, making a small piece of art each day. I invited others to join me and the "Insight Creative 30 Day Challenge" was born.
While I have worked in a sketchbook for many years, I received so much from this dedicated, engaged practice. It transformed me and my art.
And now I want to share this with you and offer you the same opportunity.

No, I am not teaching you how to make art or your sketchbook entries in this course.
I am a creativity coach, with a focus on helping artists develop a healthy, resilient mindset to support them with the inherent challenges of art-making.
I have used a sketchbook/journal for years to help me better understand my own work and deepen my connection to my voice as an artist.
The 30 Day Sketchbook Challenge Course is focused on helping you develop this practice for yourself. This is not a "how to" course with demonstrations or specifics on how to make work in your sketchbook.
That is wonderful and I strongly encourage you to invite other artists and creatives to join you in this Challenge.
Because there is not a formal start date for the 30 Day Sketchbook Challenge Course, you can establish your own start date, invite others to join you and, if you like, share your progress and discoveries on social media.

By hosting the initial 30 Day Sketchbook Challenge in 2020, which I talk about a great deal in this course, I discovered some really significant things around the value of a consistent sketchbook practice, beyond what I was already aware of.
This led me to considering what these aspects are and how to harness the mindset we need to work freely, with an awareness and connection to our creative voice and expression.
I had wanted to write a book about all of the rich discoveries I was making, and then realized that a course would be a better method to share this content with you.

PAYPAL TROUBLESHOOTING:
You may have already tried some of these things. But please let me know if this doesn’t help.
- try rebooting the device that you’re using to access PayPal, and then try again. Or you can try using a different device. You can also try making payment through your desktop computer if your device isn’t functioning well. Often closing down apps that are open, and doing a fresh reboot clears out cookies and things that are clogging the system.
- if you’re using a desktop computer and rebooting doesn’t work, then you may want to open a different web browser window on your desktop computer to make payment – try using Google Chrome for instance, instead of Safari.
- you can also try clearing history or cache on your desktop computer. Clearing cache will clear out all login information that may be stored, resetting everything for you to cleanly login again. To do that in Safari go to the navigation at the top of your screen when in the Safari window and click on Develop > Empty Cache. Clearing History is found under that link in your Safari navigation. For other website browsers, just google search "how to clear cache in_______" and follow the directions.
- you can also open an incognito or private window in Safari or any other web browser you’re using.
